Thank you for choosing Minik (or Minik Games) (“the App”, “we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy applies to the app published by Apps By Bros that displays or links to this policy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how it’s used, and your rights. The App is a free English learning app for children. We designed it with children’s privacy in mind.
The App may be free to download and may offer additional features (such as ad removal) via in-app purchases or auto-renewable subscriptions processed by Google Play Billing. All applicable terms (price, duration, renewal, and cancellation) are clearly presented in the App before any payment is requested.
1. Summary
- No accounts and no sign-in.
- No analytics or crash reporting.
- No runtime device permissions requested. The App connects to the internet only to fetch content and show ads.
- Ads are non-personalized (contextual) only and served via Families-certified ad SDK(s).
- We do not collect or store personal data on our servers.
2. Data We Collect
We, the developers, do not collect personal information. We do not maintain databases of users and we do not log names, email addresses, exact locations, or contact information.
When ads are displayed, our advertising partner(s) may process limited information solely to deliver and measure contextual ads. Typical data points include:
- IP address (to derive coarse location and prevent fraud)
- App information (package name, version)
- Device information (such as OS version, screen size, language, limited device identifiers)
- Ad events (impressions, clicks, error codes)
We configure all ad requests as child-directed and non-personalized in line with Google Play Families policies.
3. Advertising
The App displays contextual (non-personalized) advertising suitable for children. All ads are non-personalized and shown without tracking users across apps or websites. To protect children’s privacy, we:
- Use only ad SDKs that participate in the Google Play Families Self-Certified Ads SDK Program.
- Tag ad requests for child-directed treatment and disable personalized ads, interest-based advertising, and remarketing.
- Do not request or transmit the AD_ID (Advertising ID) for users of child-directed apps, per Google Play Families policies.
- Limit ad content to family-appropriate categories and formats.
If you purchase a subscription that removes ads, advertisements are disabled while your subscription is active. We do not collect or store payment information; purchases are processed by Google Play.

4. App Permissions
The App does not request runtime device permissions (such as access to contacts, camera, microphone, or precise location). The App uses internet connectivity to deliver content and ads.
5. Children’s Privacy
This App is directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
We configure our advertising to comply with child privacy laws, including the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and with Google Play Families policies.
6. Data Security & Retention
We do not operate backend servers and therefore do not store your personal data. Our advertising partner(s) may process limited data for ad delivery and fraud prevention as described above, governed by their own retention and security policies. We contractually require child-appropriate settings.
7. International Data Transfers
Advertising partners may process data on servers located outside your country. When applicable, such transfers are handled by the partner under their own legal mechanisms (for example, standard contractual clauses).
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. As we do not keep user records, most requests can be addressed by confirming that we do not retain personal information. You can also contact our ad partner(s) directly through their privacy policy links.
9. Google Play Data Safety Disclosure
On our Google Play “Data Safety” form, we disclose that the App itself does not collect personal data, while third-party advertising SDKs may process limited information for ad delivery and measurement. We will update the disclosure if our data practices change. Such limited data is processed directly by the advertising SDK and is not accessible to us, the app developers.
9A. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
The App may offer auto-renewable subscriptions (e.g., ad removal) managed by Google Play Billing. Before purchase, the App displays clear terms including price, billing period, auto-renewal status, and how to cancel. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time via your Google Play account settings.
We do not collect or store payment card numbers or other payment credentials. Payments and refunds (where applicable) are handled by Google Play according to its policies.
Because this App is directed to children, purchases are presented in compliance with Google Play Families policies and are intended to be reviewed and approved by a parent or guardian. We do not encourage children to make purchases without parental involvement. All in-app purchases and subscriptions are handled exclusively via Google Play Billing and not directly by us
10. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or in applicable laws. We will update the “Last updated” date above when changes are made.
